In Human Design, every person has their own bodygraph with 26 activations. Lay two bodygraphs on top of each other and you get the couple chart (also called a composite or connection chart). For each of the 36 channels there are then four possible connections: electromagnetic (each of you has one gate, and together they form the channel), compromise (one has the whole channel, the other one gate), dominance (one has the channel, the other none of it) and companionship (both have it).
The calculator also counts the centers defined together – many mean a lot of closeness, few mean a lot of space – and its completion analysis shows who completes whom: which hanging gate of the other person turns your gate into a channel, with which planet, and what that shifts in type or authority.
There is deliberately no score or percentage: Human Design knows no “78% match”. The couple chart is a map, not a forecast – the two of you decide, each with your own authority.
